Historic Old Brockway has never had a night in January help pave the road ahead in such a dramatic fashion . Lane and Helen’s boys will look back on this night as one that helped the golf course reach a plateau it had not previously known . The night of Sunday, January 5 th solidified a business partnership made in heaven with the sign ing of the lease to bring Spindleshanks to Historic Old Brockway. The timing was too perfect. The departure of Mountain Mo’s combined with Spindleshanks search of a new location went hand in hand. When Steve Marks walked around the empty restaurant, he knew Spindleshanks would thrive with Old Brockway .
It was only a matter of days before a verbal agreement was reached with golf course owner, Lane Lewis. When Lane was asked about the arrival of his new vendor , he stated, “We couldn’t be more excited to wel come Steve Marks and Spindleshanks to the golf course family . His local following and his reputation all make this not just a great fit, but a perfect fit .” Spindleshanks will begin operating at the golf course beginning April 1 st and throughout the summ er . They will provide a breakfast bar, lunch, and dinner. Historic Old Brockway will surely be a local’s favorite for food and golf. Stay tuned for our “Nine and Dine” specials!
